The Palestinian presidency condemned on Tuesday the continuous attacks by settlers against Palestinian citizens under the protection of the occupation forces in the north of the occupied West Bank.

Settlers have been attacking the villages of Hawwara, Beita, and Surra in the Nablus governorate, which resulted in dozens of injuries, intimidation of children, destruction of property, and road blockages.

Official Spokesperson for the Palestinian Presidency Nabil Abu Rudeineh said in a statement that the occupation army and its extremist settlers are waging a daily full-scale war on Palestinian cities, villages. and refugee camps, adding that the presidency holds the occupation government responsible for the settlers’ continuous terrorist attacks against Palestinian civilians and holy sites, which will lead to more tension and escalation and an explosion in the event they continue.

“We call on the international community and the UN Security Council to intervene urgently to provide international protection for the Palestinian people,” said Abu Rudeineh.

He stressed that the occupation is exploiting international silence to escalate its crimes and aggression against the Palestinian people in an attempt to exploit Palestinian blood in the Israeli elections.

Furthermore, Abu Rudeineh warned of the danger of Jewish extremists’ calls for a large-scale storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its desecration on Thursday, stressing: “The Islamic and Christian holy sites are a red line, and we will not allow any harm to them at all.”

“If this Israeli government wants to stop the dangerous escalation currently taking place in all Palestinian territories, it must stop its crimes and put an end to the settlers’ attacks,” he concluded.
