Egypt Post launched the ‘Deliver it to Amr Diab Service’, which allows fans of renowned singer Amr Diab to send whatever they wish to him, including postcards, gifts, letters, or pictures through all Egypt Post offices across the country in an attempt to revive postal communication which is more special for “all of the warm details that text messages do not provide.”

Sherif Farouk — Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Egypt Post — said that paper letters and postcards let you express feelings in a great way and have a value that distinguishes them from other modern electronic means of communication.

They bring a certain joy to the recipient of these messages, allowing them to keep them in their possession and re-read them. Therefore, Egypt Post initiated this new service to foster a new beginning for re-communication between individuals.

He also said that Egypt Post always seeks to improve the quality of the services it provides to citizens across the country to include all segments of the Egyptian society at a high quality and competitive prices.

It is worth noting that Egypt Post’s new service is an advanced shipping service that relies on artificial intelligence (AI) and geospatial technologies (GIS). The shipment gets tracked in all its stages until delivery via the website or the ‘Wassalha’ application.
