Egypt, Cyprus discuss bilateral relations, regional issues

Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received on Wednesday a telephone call from his Cypriot counterpart Nicus Khristudolides, in the framework of continuous consultation and close relations between the two friendly countries.

The two ministers discussed different bilateral cooperation and follow up the results of the Supreme Committee for bilateral cooperation between the two countries at the presidential level, held for the first time in Cairo last September.

In this regard, the Cypriot minister made an invitation to Minister Shoukry to visit Cyprus during the coming period. The two ministers reviewed the latest developments at a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
