Shoukry, Greek counterpart discuss Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East situations

Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry travelled to the Greek capital Athens, on Tuesday, upon an official invitation from his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias.

During his visit, Shoukry participated in a meeting of regional Ministers of Foreign Affairs to discuss the situations in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East.

The meeting also saw bilateral meetings between Shoukry and a number of his counterparts, to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation as well as regional issues of mutual concern.
