EATC launches all-new Audi A4 2021 in Egyptian market

The Egyptian Automotive and Trading Company (EATC) – the official agent for Audi in Egypt – launched the all-new Audi A4 for the year 2021 in the Egyptian market.

The new model aims to dominate the luxury sedan segment relying on its dynamic and attractive design, as well as its advanced electronic systems that enhance safety and security levels, and its powerful two-litre TFSI four-cylinder engine.

Since it was first introduced in 1994, the Audi A4 has always been a preferred choice for customers looking for a luxurious, elegant, contemporary limousine. As for the current fifth generation of the Audi A4, it was introduced in mid-2015, before it underwent comprehensive improvements and modifications internally and externally for 2021, to complete the journey of the past successes of this luxury sport sedan that spanned more than a quarter of a century.

Although the Audi A4 for 2021 is an improved version of the current fifth-generation, it looks more than a “midlife” improvement. The all-new A4 came with a dynamic-sporty character enhanced in various aspects with attractive touches, in the new design language of the German manufacturer family. In terms of design, the most notable new enhancements to the exterior lines are the new front mono grille, along with advanced LED headlamps, dark-tinted windows, and an attractive sunroof, as well as the 17-inch wheels.

Other unique touches include the striking LED taillights, the thin chrome strip that runs between the two rear lights, the six exterior paint color options, as well as the self-dimming exterior mirrors with heating and memory. In terms of standard dimensions, the overall length is 4762 mm, while the width and height are 1847 and 1428 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2820 mm.

The German brand Audi’s efforts were not limited to imparting a luxurious look to the exterior lines of the latest A4 model, but the interior was also more luxurious than ever before. They included high-quality, soft-touch components that saw intertwining silver aluminium appliqués and luxurious leather trimmings. On the technical front, the all-new A4 has benefited from a new infotainment system that includes a larger touch screen, in addition to an Audi virtual cockpit as standard equipment.

The all-new A4 uses a long and varied range of comfort and luxury equipment available as standard, including automatic air conditioning, which can separate its temperature in three different regions, self-dimming rearview mirrors without a frame, as well as Bluetooth technology, easy entry system without the use of traditional keys, and the new leather steering wheel. It also features front seats that can be adjusted electrically with the memory feature for the driver’s seat, the audio system consisting of ten headphones, the speed control, the speed limiter, the front and rear corner sensors, the feature to open the trunk without using hands via foot sensors, and other exclusive and varied equipment.

In terms of safety and security equipment, the new A4 for 2021 has benefited from a variety of advanced technical driving assistance systems and pioneering safety equipment, including six airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), and emergency brake force distribution (EBD), in addition to the electronic stability control (ESC), anti-theft system, ISOFIX child seat anchor points in the rear, and tire pressure monitoring system.

Mechanically, under the front cover of the new A4 sedan lies an engine equipped with a two-litre “turbocharged” TFSI-class. This powerful engine delivers 190 horsepower and a maximum torque of 320 Nm. The engine is connected to a seven-speed S Tronic dual-clutch automatic gearbox that transmits torque to the front wheels, and can reach 100 km/h from standstill in just 7.5 seconds.

In the Egyptian market, the newest Audi A4 for 2021 is available in two equipment categories, the Luxury category, at a price of EGP 820,000 and the more equipped Sporty category at a price of EGP 880,000.
