Egypt, Bahrain discuss joint industrial cooperation

Egypt’s Minister of Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi received, on Monday, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder. 

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of industry. They also emphasised the depth of mutual relations between Egypt and Bahrain, which enhance the significance of cooperation between Egyptian military production companies and Bahraini companies. 

Morsi noted the significance of bolstering cooperation between these companies, as well as the importance of strengthening strategic partnership between the two countries. 

The minister said that all manufacturing, technological and human capabilities available in the companies and units affiliated to Egypt’s Ministry of Military Production will be used in major industrial defence or civil projects on the Bahrain side in accordance with the latest technologies used in these fields. 

Meanwhile, Morsi invited a Bahraini delegation to visit the companies and units affiliated to his ministry, to review the capabilities available.

For Al-Jowder, he expressed his country’s keenness to open new areas of cooperation with Egypt’s Ministry of Military Production’s companies, as they have the technology, manufacturing, technical, research, human, and infrastructure capabilities in addition to its success in implementing a number of national development projects in Egypt.
