Integrated digital solutions company, Victory Link, has announced its cooperation with the Supreme Council of University Hospitals, to assign short code number of 911111 to collect donations to hospitals.

The donations made via the number will go towards developing 113 hospitals and the treatment of over 21 million patients across Egypt.

Engy El-Saban, CEO and board member at Victory Link, said the private sector has a great commitment to achieving community goals and sustainable participation in developing public sector facilities and services.

Technology companies now play an essential role, especially in times of crisis, as they provide the private sector with the power to overcome risks and crises.

Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of University Hospitals, highlighted the importance of private sector contributions to the development of Egypt’s medical system.

He emphasised the importance of this particularly in times such as the spread of the coronavirus. This enables the system to expand its scope and increase its capacity to receive more patients in all governorates of Egypt.

Egypt’s university hospitals currently hold a capacity of over 35,000 beds, providing various medical services. They also provide support in all forms of medical education, training, and scientific research in the country.

In striking up the partnership, Victory Link aims to play an effective and influential role in treating the largest number of patients and integrating technology into daily life.
