Orange signs agreement to provide smart technology services, solutions for Coca-Cola Egypt

Orange Egypt and Coca-Cola – Egypt announced the renewal of their partnership contract to provide mobile services, smart and digital applications, and solutions through Orange’s network and tracking services for the Coca-Cola fleet, in addition to joint advertising cooperation.

Yasser Shaker, CEO of Orange Egypt, said that the company will provide the latest digital services for Coca-Cola that will help them become more effective and efficient in its administrative system, and the company’s fleet tracking service. He added that the Coca-Cola company status tracking service in the markets, which helps to follow products accurately in addition to saving energy and reducing operational costs, will be also provided.

This is in line with Orange Egypt’s strategy to focus on supporting the government in projects of digital transformation and financial inclusion, which coincides with Egypt’s 2030 vision.

Orange Egypt will provide Orange Cash services as an electronic collection method for merchants dealing with the Coca-Cola Company, which helps to reduce cash transactions and enhance the company’s cash liquidity.

Orange also allows Coca-Cola Egypt free Wi-Fi in the company’s branches throughout the Republic, so that the company’s customers and employees can stay connected to the internet at all times with high quality and speed, in addition to the bulk SMS service that will enable the company to create successful marketing campaigns by reaching out to existing and new customers.

Orange Egypt, in cooperation with Orange Lab, the R&D arm of Orange Egypt, has designed and developed an advanced human resources application that allows workers in Coca-Cola Egypt to follow the programmes and features offered by their company.

The employees can view personal salary and request vacations, in addition to following up on the percentage of what was accomplished at work compared to the desired goals. Orange also developed and increased voice and data services packages for Coca-Cola employees and their families through more than 55,000 lines.
