The Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EEC) is organising the first Egyptian pavilion at the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (Wetex), the region’s largest Sustainability and Renewable Technology Exhibition from 21-23 October 2019 in Dubai, UAE.

The exhibition is considered a gateway to meet and connect with the industries’ key players and governmental authorities in the MENA region, according to EEC press statement on Tuesday.

The Egyptian engineering pavilion will be presented by five of the top companies that work in water technology and electricity, namely Egytrafo, ElMaco, ElSewedy Electrometer, Lectrobar, and Purelife.

“With annual exports of $600m, these sectors possess a strong competitive advantage due to their good manufacturing capacities, respectable level of quality, and competitive product prices. In addition, they offer products that are highly accessible to the majority of markets around the world, especially the MENA region,” the statement read.

This initiative comes as part of EEC’s ongoing mission to support its members in generating new export opportunities, expanding their presence while strengthening the positioning of the Egyptian engineering industries in high potential markets through several international marketing programmes and activities, including supporting their participation in specialised international trade shows.
