AWO launches radio programme on Sawt al-Arab

The Arab Women Organisation (AWO) launched a radio programme entitled By You, I Am Stronger, in cooperation with Egyptian Radio and in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan.

The AWO announced in a press release that the programme is broadcasting on the “Sawt al-Arab” (Voice of the Arabs) radio station and that it includes 30 episodes, pointing out that each episode is about five minutes long.

According to the AWO, the programme is presented by Samira Abdelaziz, directed by Hatem Al Ajmi, and written by Mohamed Mahmoud.

“Each episode of the radio programme discusses several topics on Arab women’s rights,” the AWO stated.

In addition, several other programmes will be introduced by the AWO, including the Peace and Security Programme, the Arab Women and Sustainable Development Programme 2030, the Programme for Building a Women-Friendly Community Culture in the Arab Region, and the Programme for Strengthening the Role of Women in the Face of Poverty.
