The US dollar exchange price index slipped against the Egyptian pound in 11 banks during Thursday tradings/transactions, at rates ranging from 5 to 15 piastres, after a significant increase pushed the exchange rate to the level of EGP 18.26 at the end of Wednesday.
The dollar declined by 15 piastres in the Arab Investment Bank, 14 piastres in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB);10 piastres in the Commercial International Bank (CIB), Ahli United Bank (AUB), Audi Bank, Al Ahli bank of Kuwait, National Bank Of Greece; 9 piastres in the Egyptian Gulf Bank and Al Baraka Bank; and 5 piasters in the United Bank and HSBC.
The CIB, AUB, Audi bank, Al Ahli bank of Kuwait, Egyptian Gulf Bank, National Bank of Greece, and United Bank presented EGP 18.10 for buying and EGP 18.10 for selling.
The dollar price registered EGP 18.21 for buying and EGP 18.35 for selling in HSBC bank, and EGP 18.12 and EGP 18.22 respectively in ADIB. The Arab Investment Bank recorded EGP 18.05 for buying and EGP 18.15 for selling.
