The 2016 Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell tennis championship is now in its final match, where Spanish Rafael Nadal will play against Japan’s Kei Nishikori.

Nadal qualified for the final after beating German’s Philipp Kohlshreiber, with scores of 6-3 and 6-3 in the semifinals.

Nishikori, on the other hand, qualified for the final after winning in the semifinals against France’s Benoit Paire, with scores of 6-3 and 6-2.

Nadal, currently ranked fifth internationally, was the only Spanish player who succeeded in qualifying for the quarterfinals, after Albert Montañés, Feliciano López, Pablo Carreño, and Íñigo Cervantes exited from the tournament.

Arab countries were represented in the tournament by Tunisia, who participated in the championship with its player Malek Jaziri.

Unfortunately, Jaziri exited the tournament, after being defeated by Paire in the quarterfinals, with the scores of 3-6, 7-5 and 6-1.
