Egypt and Kuwait start joint air force exercise

The joint air force exercise Al-Yarmouk 2 between Egyptian and Kuwaiti air forces commenced on Sunday in Kuwait.

The Egyptian, US, and UAE navy forces also participated within Egypt’s territorial waters of the Red Sea.

The exercise includes performing drills of joint combat operations, which involves planning and managing joint combat operations and performing offensive and defensive tasks using multirole fighter jets, according to a statement from the army.

The army said the training comes within a series of annual exercises conducted by the national armed forces with friendly countries.
