The Obour City Development Authority is constructing 89 buildings in Obour City that include 2,111 units, said head of the authority Amin Ghoneim, noting that the authority has identified the finishing standards and reviewed them in one building of the project.

He said 63 buildings were approved for repainting, and work has begun on one of them as a sample model.

The minister also reviewed facility buildings that have been completed in the city. Ghoniem noted that seven new schools will be established in the city and that there are an additional five schools proposed, as well as several playgrounds in different districts of the city.

Madbouly reviewed the social housing units implemented by the Ministry of Housing in Obour City, which included 1,576 units. The minister noted that another 1,000 units will be launched. During his visit, he requested changing the facade of one of the buildings that was painted as a model, stressing the need to adhere to colour tastes in various cities and provinces in the project.
