Banque Misr and the Heliopolis Association signed a cooperation protocol to finance the establishment of a science centre in the Children’s Civilisation and Creativity Museum, with a grant worth EGP 6m.

The agreement was signed by: Mohamed Eletreby, Chairman of the Board of Trusteesof the Banque Misr Foundation for Community Development and Welfare (BMFCDW) and Farouk Hafez Elghoary, chairman of the Heliopolis Association, in the presence of Ali El‐Saeydi, Deputy Chairman of the BMFCDW Board of Trustees.

The protocol aims to establish and equip a science centre that contributes to: explaining school science curricula; developing children’s science abilities; simulating the world’s biggest educational museums; discovering creative talents; providing interactive education for children and families to encourage them to explore; and providing a group of interactive shows about different science subjects.

Signing the protocol is part of Banque Misr’s role in social responsibility, which it pays great attention to. Financing projects that aim for scientific and community developments is considered one of the most important main axes that the bank believes in, whether directly or indirectly, through its foundation to develop and serve community.

Banque Misr stresses its keenness on contributing to all projects that encourage science, support Egyptian talents and contribute to the development and renaissance of the community.
