Marking the  International Women’s Day, over a thousand people marched from Tala’at Harb Square to the High Court. The protesters, mainly women, demanded rights for women in Egypt. The march also had a political tone, with calls for the downfall of the regime, President Mohamed Morsi, and the Muslim Brotherhood.
