CAIRO: The curfew in Cairo, Alexandria and Suez has been moved to 3 pm, state TV announced Sunday night.

The curfew was first declared on Friday, from 6 pm to 7 am. It was ignored. It was moved on Saturday to the period between 4 pm and 8 am.

State TV also announced that police will be back on the street on Sunday. In the morning, it hadn’t deployed fully, but people throughout Cairo reported seeing police forces.

It’s not clear whether the police would be used to keep order or would be used to disperse protesters.
