New investment zone in Banha to create 10,000 jobs

Minister of Invesment Mahmoud Mohieldin and Banha Governor Adly Hussein laid the foundation of stone of a new investment zone in the governorate. The new zone will be set for agricultural and food industries. It will be built over an area of 213,000 square meters.

The project comes as part of efforts by the Ministry of Investment for expanding investment zones throughout Egypt.

Several small- and medium-scale projects will be set up in the zone in the fields of agro-industry and spinning and weaving. The projects are to provide around 10,000 jobs.
