31 new H1N1 cases bring Egypt total to 1,363

CAIRO: The Ministry of Health reported 31 new H1N1 cases in Egypt, bringing the total to 1,363 in the country, according to the Information and Decision Support Center.

Out of the 31 new cases, 14 are students; seven of which are in Cairo, three in Giza, two in Kafr El-Sheikh, one in Gharbeya and one in the Red Sea governorate.

A 17-year-old female student at Ain Shams University’s faculty of education also tested positive for H1N1.

The remaining 16 cases include 11 Egyptians as well as three Russians and two Italians who arrived recently.

All cases are in stable condition and are undergoing treatment.
