CAIRO: Ibrahim Saied made his debut with Libya s Ahli in their 3-0 Premier League victory over Al-Najma on Thursday.

The Egyptian defender, who joined Ahli on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Ismaili in April, came on as a second-half substitute, wearing the number 44 shirt.

He played his first match in 10 months, having fallen out with Ismaili in the second half of last season after a row over his dues.

A brace from Mohamed Maghrabi either side of the interval and a stoppage-time goal from Mohamed Al-Jilani gave Ahli their first victory of the season.

The Tripoli-based side lost 2-1 to Al-Akhdar in the league opener.
