CAIRO: Ismaili have taken instant action against a host of players after the 2-1 league defeat to lowly Al Masri on Monday.

General manager Ali Gheit revealed that defender Hani Saied, who is a regular for the national team, was hit by an indefinite suspension for his “poor performance .

Saied is suspended indefinitely, he was also handed an LE 2,000 fine for his poor performance in recent matches, Gheit told FilGoal.com.

Mostafa Karim is also fined for the same reason.

Saied and Karim were not the only casualties of the Al Masri defeat, as Mohamed Fadl, Hosni Abd-Rabou, Ahmed Samir Farag and Mohamed Sobhi were also hit with fines.

Egypt striker Fadl has been fined LE 5,000 after his angry reaction to being substituted in the second half.

Abd-Rabou and Farag were fined LE 1,000 after a dressing bust-up, while deputy goalkeeper Sobhi faced the same fate after clashing with goalkeeping coach.

The Al Masri defeat added to the woes of the already tormented Dervishes, who recently asked the Ismailia Governor for help regarding the club s poor financial condition.
