CAIRO: Ahli defender Wael Gomaa and striker Abdul-Hamid Hassan have been included in the team s squad for the CAF Champions League clash against Mamelodi Sundowns after recovering from injury.
The duo s return is a big boost to Ahli Portuguese boss Manuel Jose, who missed them for a one-and-a-half months.
Angolan striker Flavio Amado has been also selected despite concerns over his fitness after suffering a slight injury in training last week.
Ahli host South Africa s Sundowns in the second-leg of the Champions League round of 16 on Friday. The first-leg ended in a 2-2 draw in Pretoria.
