Zamalek players have received part of their wages which were suspended after the team s 2-0 away defeat to Sudan s Hilal in the CAF Champions League.

The players bonuses for reaching the Arab Champions League semi-finals as well as their monthly salaries were banned following their dismal form against Hilal in the first-leg of the African Cup round of 32.

However, the club have decided to hand the players their monthly salaries but will not release bonuses until they overcome Hilal and reach the CAF Champions League s next round.

Forward Gamal Hamza was the only player not to receive his due money due to lack of discipline, FilGoal.com have learnt.

Zamalek will be away to Ahli Jeddah in the final fixture of the Arab Champions League quarter-finals on March 13th, four days before hosting Hilal in the crucial second-leg game.
