Spain's Gamesa sells wind turbines to Egypt

MADRID: Spanish wind energy company Gamesa said it has signed a contract to supply Egypt with wind turbines worth $365 million.

The 284 turbines will have a power output of 241 megawatts.

They will be used in the construction of two new wind farms in Zafarana, on the shores of the Red Sea.
