Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) has announced a strategic partnership with SOKNA, Egypt’s first end-to-end funeral services provider, to modernise and enhance cemetery services across the country.

The collaboration aims to deliver a comprehensive, organised and dignified cemetery experience by combining TMG’s extensive expertise in real estate development with SOKNA’s specialised operational capabilities and research-driven approach to bereavement services.

The first phase of the partnership will see SOKNA assume responsibility for the sales and management of BOSTAN Cemeteries, a landmark project developed by TMG on 188 feddans in a prime location with direct access from the Suez Road.

Designed to establish a new standard for cemetery services, BOSTAN offers an integrated environment that supports families before, during and after times of loss. The project features a carefully planned master design that includes clear directional signage, dedicated waiting areas, event halls, a mosque, and round-the-clock security and safety services. The development also incorporates practical solutions to address many of the challenges families face during bereavement.

Under the agreement, TMG will support SOKNA’s expansion by allocating office space within its locations and branches across Egypt. The group will also provide operational and strategic support to help ensure a seamless and integrated experience for cemetery owners and visitors across all joint projects.

The partnership is based on a shared commitment to enhancing customer experience and addressing underserved needs within the market. To improve accessibility, TMG will offer flexible payment solutions aimed at making cemetery ownership available to a broader segment of society.

Commenting on the partnership, Hesham Talaat Moustafa, CEO and Managing Director of TMG, said: “At TMG, we are committed to developing integrated communities that address the diverse needs of residents. Through our experience, we identified a clear need for a more organised and professional model within the cemetery services sector. Through this partnership with SOKNA, we aim to establish a new benchmark for cemetery services, combining TMG’s expertise in development with SOKNA’s specialised operational capabilities to meet growing market demand and enhance service quality for Egyptian families.”

Ahmed Gaballah, Founder and CEO of SOKNA, said: “We are proud to announce this strategic partnership, which has been developed through close collaboration with TMG. We highly value TMG’s support and its strong reputation locally, regionally and internationally. This partnership enables us to provide the integrated, organised and dignified experience that families deserve during times of bereavement, while also opening new opportunities for future expansion both regionally and globally.”

BOSTAN Cemeteries will offer continuous maintenance services, integrated facilities and a range of solutions developed through SOKNA’s seven years of field experience, supported by extensive local and international research.

The name “BOSTAN” was chosen to reflect the project’s commitment to delivering an authentic Egyptian experience rooted in local culture and heritage. Rather than replicating foreign models, the development seeks to preserve and honour Egyptian traditions while introducing modern standards of service and management.
