Egypt’s first dedicated centre for learning difficulties, Moon Hall Cairo, will open on June 15. The launch includes an educational workshop featuring UK and local specialists, aimed at raising awareness and introducing the centre’s services.

The facility is located within the New Giza Educational Hub and has been developed in partnership with Moon Hall School UK, a British institution specialising in support for students with dyslexia and related conditions. The project was first announced in London in September 2024.

Moon Hall Cairo will provide services including:

  • Speech and language therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Support for dyslexia
  • Assessments for ADHD and autism
  • Educational psychology
  • Programmes for gifted students

The centre is staffed by a multidisciplinary team using internationally recognised methods, adjusted for the local context.

The opening follows a collaboration agreement signed last year during a UK-Egypt trade mission, hosted at the Egyptian Embassy in London and attended by British and Egyptian officials. The initiative is part of broader education partnerships led by New Era Education, which has also launched other UK-affiliated institutions in Egypt, including Uppingham Cairo and the upcoming King’s School Canterbury International College.

Moon Hall Cairo’s website will also launch on June 15, offering more details about available services.
