Mohamed Salah El-Din Mostafa, Minister of State for Military Production, reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to implementing the directives of the political leadership to deepen local manufacturing and forge partnerships with national and international institutions. The goal, he said, is to transfer the latest military and civilian manufacturing technologies to the ministry’s affiliated entities, ensuring that the Ministry of Military Production remains a cornerstone of Egypt’s defence industry and one of the state’s leading industrial arms in civilian manufacturing.
The Minister made his remarks during a meeting with the chairpersons of affiliated companies and units, along with sector heads and advisers from the ministry and the National Authority for Military Production. The meeting, held at the ministry’s Training Sector headquarters in El-Salam City, reviewed the progress of ongoing projects, assessed adherence to implementation schedules, and discussed solutions to production challenges.
Mostafa emphasised that the ministry’s priority in the coming period is to continue enhancing its institutional performance and consolidating its role in both defence and civilian industries.
During the meeting, company heads presented performance indicators, including operating revenues, production outputs, net sales, inventory levels, and financial summaries. The Minister reviewed these reports and discussed observations and directives issued during regular inspection visits—both scheduled and unannounced—to ensure direct monitoring of production operations.

He underscored the importance of supporting affiliated companies in meeting their operational plans and budgets for the current fiscal year while continuously upgrading production capabilities with the latest technologies.
Mostafa also directed further development of production lines, improvements in operational efficiency, and greater investment in human capital, which he described as the most vital component of the production process. He called for the consistent application of governance principles, stronger integration among affiliated entities, and the optimal use of available resources and assets while maintaining cost efficiency.
The Minister concluded by highlighting the importance of leveraging technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities across all companies and conducting regular on-site follow-ups to ensure the timely and effective completion of ongoing projects.
