Americana Restaurants Egypt has launched “Education for All = Food for All”, a unified initiative that consolidates all the company’s education and youth empowerment programs, reinforcing its long-term commitment to investing in people and education.

The initiative expands Americana’s partnerships with the Ministry of Education, public universities, and Misr El Kheir Foundation, supporting thousands of students through literacy, vocational, and higher-education programs nationwide.

Under the Dual Education Program—run jointly with the Ministry of Education and Misr El Kheir—more than 7,500 students have graduated from nine partner schools, including Ahmed Hamed Taleb School for Applied Technology, El Zeitoun Commercial School, and Tanta Hotel School. Meanwhile, over 1,500 university students from Helwan, Alexandria, and Fayoum Universities have benefited from Americana’s support in completing their degrees and securing employment opportunities, helping bridge the gap between education and the labor market.

During the launch event, Americana Restaurants Egypt honored three top-performing students—Mohamed Emad, Haneen Mahmoud, and Alaa Mohamed—for achieving first place nationwide in their respective fields.

As part of its community engagement efforts, Americana’s KFC brand continues to run the “3al Asl Tawar” literacy and skills development program in Ezbet Khairallah, in cooperation with local associations. The program, targeting 600 beneficiaries over three years, has already graduated 500 participants, significantly improving literacy rates in the area.

“Our investment in people is as vital as our business growth,” said Hesham Talaat, Country General Manager for Americana Restaurants in Egypt and Iraq, and General Manager for Hardee’s in the Middle East. “Education builds opportunity and economic empowerment. Through our programs, we are creating a sustainable impact from schools to universities, linking education directly to employment.”

Americana Restaurants Egypt also continues to advance inclusivity by employing people of determination across its operations. The company currently operates seven branches fully managed by employees with hearing impairments, with plans to expand to nine by the end of 2025.

Through these efforts, Americana Restaurants Egypt demonstrates a holistic approach to sustainable development—one that empowers youth, promotes equality, and strengthens the link between education and opportunity.
