Energy sector experts from Latin American and Caribbean countries are in Russia to study the country’s energy sector and develop a plan for cooperation between the regions, according to TV BRICS report.
The delegation, participating in the “InteRussia” fellowship programme, includes engineers, researchers, and managers from specialised enterprises in Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, Chile, and Ecuador.
The programme in Moscow involves visits to key infrastructure facilities, meetings with leading industry experts, and an introduction to the country’s culture.
The objective of the visit is to study the differences in energy landscapes and to formulate a plan for sectoral cooperation. Discussions are focused on these topics, with the specialists identifying which projects are of greatest interest for future collaboration.
