Minister of Petroleum heads Egyptian delegation to Francophone Summit in Tunisia

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El-Molla headed the Egyptian delegation participating in the 18th Summit of the International Organization of Francophonie, currently being held in the Tunisian island of Djerba, in the presence of more than 33 heads of state and government and 80 delegations representing countries and international and regional organizations.

On the sidelines of the opening session of the summit, Tarek El Molla met with Tunisian President Kais Saied, in the presence of Egypt’s ambassador to Tunisia, Ihab Fahmy, where the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources conveyed a message of greetings from President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Egypt’s full support for the reforms in Tunisia. El-Molla expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality enjoyed by the Egyptian delegation since its arrival in the sisterly land of Tunisia.

On the other hand, El-Molla met with French President Emmanuel Macron, who asked to convey his sincere greetings to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sis.
