NBE delegation follows up on ITI-supported training academy

The Information Technology Institute (ITI) has received a delegation from the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) at the institute’s headquarters in the Smart Village, to follow up on the joint training academy between the two institutions.

The joint training academy aims to support young people’s skills and hold cooperation in the field of training and preparing specialized professionals in various fields of technology, especially in the field of information security. This aims to eventually enhance their chances for employment at the Bank in various technological disciplines in this field.

Heba Saleh, Director of ITI, said that cooperation with the NBE is essential for supporting young people’s skills and preparing the capabilities of specialized cadres to enhance their employment opportunities in various technological disciplines and cybersecurity.

Abeer Khedr, Head of the Cybersecurity Sector at the NBE, stressed the importance of investing in the human resources and boosting the human capabilities of young people with regard to the field of information technology, and its importance in the banking sector.

Mohamed Saad, Head of Information Technology Systems Engineering and Infrastructure Solutions Design at the NBE, stated that this cooperation comes as a first step, and more will follow in light of the results of the first phase.

The cooperation between the ITI and the NBE provides opportunities to train human cadres in various technological disciplines. This cooperation also provides opportunities for employment in the NBE after training for a certain number of distinguished trainees.

The bank’s work team held personal interviews for a selected group of trainees in preparation for their joining the bank.
