Hisham Talaat Moustafa ranked 61st among best 100 CEOs in Middle East 2022

Hisham Talaat Moustafa, CEO and Managing Director of Talaat Moustafa Group, has ranked 61st among top 100 CEOs during 2022 in the Middle East by Forbes.

The region’s top 100 CEOs represent 26 nationalities. Emiratis dominate the rankings with 19 entries, followed by Egypt by 16, and Saudi Arabia by 15. Combined, they achieved revenues of over $1trn in 2021. Their companies are currently collectively worth more than $5trn.

The ranking is based on long-term performance, innovation, technology, and ESG initiatives. Corporate governance has been improving for several years in the Middle East.

Hisham Talaat Moustafa is the youngest son of the founder of TMG, which is Egypt’s largest listed real estate company with $7.5bn in assets. It has a land bank of 74 million sqms and reported revenues of $825m in 2021. The company has developed over 33 million sqms of land and sold over 90,000 residential units. It recently launched mega projects Privado-Madinaty, Celia and Noor City. TMG has also developed hotel projects, including the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh Resort, the Four Seasons Nile Plaza, the Four Seasons San Stefano Grand Plaza in Alexandria, and the Kempinski Nile Hotel.
