Egypt, Jordan cooperate to develop women’s football teams

Dina Al-Refai, the board member of the Egyptian Football Association, and the supervisor of women’s football sector, expressed her happiness at signing a joint cooperation agreement with the Jordan Football Association, to exchange experiences, and hold friendly matches and joint training camps, in a step towards the development of women’s football in the two countries.

Al-Rifai said in exclusive statements that the agreement includes a set of cooperation clauses for the benefit of women’s football and the national teams in Egypt and Jordan, praising at the same time the steps taken by Jordanian football, especially in women’s activities under the auspices of Prince Ali bin Al Hussein and late Egyptian coach Mahmoud El-Gohary.

Al-Rifai said: “I would like to thank Prince Ali bin Al Hussein and all colleagues and brothers in the Jordanian Federation for the warm reception and the great hospitality with the participation of the Egyptian women’s football team in the friendly session.”

She concluded: “The cooperation between the two countries’ football federations represents the natural extension of the good relationship between the two brotherly federations, and all my wishes for success for Egyptian and Jordanian football.”
