Mo Salah continues to write history

Mohamed Salah, the star of Liverpool and the captain of the Egyptian national team, has gained much traction in the past five years, putting on exceptional performances and breaking records with Liverpool across many competitions, most notably the English Premier League for the current 2021-2022 season.

According to the Transfer Market website — which specialises in numbers, statistics, and the marketing value of players — Salah occupies third place in the list of the 10 most expensive players in the world with a price of €100m — on par with Venus Junior – Real Madrid, Harry Kane – Tottenham, and Ramilo Lukaku, Chelsea striker.

French star Kylian Mbappe is at the top of the list of the most expensive players in the world with a price of €160m, and the Norwegian Erling Halland comes in second place with a price of €150m.

Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes is in fourth place, on par with Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, and Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar — all of which cost €90m.

Sharing fifth place is Phil Foden, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Joshua Kimmich, and Raheem Sterling with a price of €85m.
