The General Authority for Universal Health Insurance (GAUHI) has announced the terms of contracting with rehabilitation service providers.

The most important requirements are: Obtaining the necessary licenses and permits to practice this profession from the legally competent authorities, meeting the comprehensive quality standards determined by the General Authority for Accreditation and oversight, and adherence to contracting systems, prices, controls, and procedures approved by the Authority’s Board of Directors.

The Authority’s Wednesday statement clarified that the comprehensive health insurance is a mandatory system, based on social solidarity, and its umbrella covers all citizens, and the family is the main insurance coverage unit, pointing out that this system is based on the basis of separating funding from service provision, and GAIHU may not provide treatment services.
