The first-leg matches of the Round of 16 in the UEFA Europa League will kick off on Thursday, with a draw resulting in a pure Egyptian confrontation.

The round will see Arsenal, featuring Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny, play at 22:00 against Greece’s Olympiacos, for which compatriot Ahmed Hassan Koka plays.

The two teams clashed at the previous edition of Europa League, when the Greek team lost to the Gunners. In the second leg, the Greeks turned the table and won 2-1.

Koka is also considered the star of Olympiacos’ offensive line, after scoring the goal that saw his team’s last minute qualification against PSV Eindhoven.

Meanwhile, Ajax of Amsterdam will face the Swiss team Young Boys, and Ukraine’s Dynamo Kiev will meet Spain’s Villarreal. The Italian team AS Roma will clash against Ukrainian team Shakhtar Donnetsk, whilst Croatia’s GNK Dinamo Zagreb will play against Tottenham Hotspur.

At 20:00, England’s Manchester United will face AC Milan at Old Trafford, whilst Slavia Prague will meet Scottish team Rangers. Meanwhile Granada faces Norwegian team Molde.

The match between AC Milan and Manchester United will see the participation of Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will be facing his former team. Ibrahimovic participated in 55 matches in all competitions with the Red Devils, scoring 29 goals and assisting 10 others.
