President Al-Sisi directs for financial provisions to national development projects

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi directed, on Thursday, for the provision of the necessary financial resources to civilian companies to ensure they can quickly implement various national development projects across the country.

The presidential directive comes in order to enhance the economic and investment returns of these projects.

President Al-Sisi’s remarks came during a meeting with Head of the Armed Forces Financial Affairs Authority, Major General Ahmed El-Shazly, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

Rady added that, during the meeting, the President reviewed the financial flows of civilian companies in charge of implementing national projects nationwide. This includes the national project for the development of villages, as part of the “Decent Life” programme.

President Al-Sisi also directed for work to intensify within the villages’ development project, and that the necessary financial flows should be ensured.

This would come in addition to promoting cooperation among all governmental sectors to enhance the infrastructure and basic services provided to citizens, and to improve their living conditions and eliminate poverty.
