The Korean Culture Center in Cairo (KCC) in cooperation with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) will launch the 2019 K-Creative Content conference next Wednesday where six Korean companies will be participating, including LG Electronics.

The conference aims at shedding light on Korean creative industries in addition to exploring new opportunities for collaboration with other Egyptian creatives.

The Korean companies will organise an exhibition on virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) in addition to holding a seminar with Egyptian counterparts.

South Korea has gained a lot of experience in spreading their creative content and engaging in cultural exchange, making it one of the country’s soft power and an engine for its future growth, said the Director of KCC, Yang Sang Keun.

Additionally, LG Electronics took part in ASHRAE Cairo Chapter organisation’s Silver Jubilee Celebration on Friday, which was held under the theme “Green Egypt” in the presence of the Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker and other high-profile Egyptian and international figures.

What we aim for is a substantial impact on our way of living.”

Kwack added, “Our approach at LG perfectly fits with the strategic framework of Egypt’s 2030 sustainable development vision, which aims at creating sustainable societies, eco-friendly cities, and green buildings. Our approach at LG is focused on minimising the environmental impact on the whole value chain while enriching lives.”
