AFP- Britain will submit a draft resolution to the UN Security Council “condemning the chemical weapons attack by Assad” and authorising measures to protect civilians from the Syrian leader’s regime, Prime Minister David Cameron said Wednesday.

“The resolution will be put forward at a meeting of the five permanent members of the Security Council later today in New York,” Cameron said in a Twitter message, as the West geared up for possible military action against the Syrian regime.
