CAIRO: Ahly manager Hossam Al-Badri expects a tough derby clash with Zamalek on Tuesday, following the arrival of Hossam Hassan at the helm of the Whites.

Unbeaten in 11 games, Ahly are odds-on to pull off an easy victory over their bitter rivals, who lost six games so far in the league, including three straight defeats recently.

However, Al-Badri doesn’t believe the game will be a walk in the park.

I don t care about people saying that the game is already settled in our favor. We haven’t won yet, Al-Badri was quoted by Ahly s official site.

I expect a tough game because I can see that Zamalek have improved under the new management.

While missing a number of his key players, Al-Badri believes that the list of absentees should not impede his team.

Ahly s strength lies in the unity of this team and that’s why we are the league leaders until now, added the 49-year-old.

We are looking for the three points and I think that the absence of some players shouldn’t be a problem.

Ahly will be without injured Mohamed Abou-Trika, Mohamed Barakat, Moataz Eno and Francis Doe, while Emad Meteb is facing a fitness battle.
