CAIRO: Zamalek playmaker Mahmoud “Shikabala Abdel-Razeq has been named by Egypt coach Hassan Shehata for the Guinea friendly game to be held in Cairo on Aug. 12.
The decision comes after Shikabala led Zamalek to a 3-1 win over ENPPI in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League on Friday.
The Guinea game will be Shikabala s first return to the Egypt fold after Shehata dropped the player months ago and accused him of indiscipline.
Shehata also named White Knights keeper Abdel-Wahed Al-Sayed for the game, but the latter is likely to be dropped after picking up an injury against ENPPI.
Neither Amr Zaki nor Ahmed “Mido Hossam were called up for the exhibition, as the pair continue their absence since the FIFA Confederations Cup in June.
