Two explosions in Boulad village, Beheira led to the collapse of an electricity tower and a power outage on Saturday morning.

“Investigations speculated that Muslim Brotherhood members are behind the explosions within the framework of a series of bombings carried out by members of the group before the anniversary of the 25 January Revolution,” state-owned Al-Ahram reported.

An improvised explosive device (IED) also exploded on a railroad tunnel in Zagazig, Sharqeya Saturday morning, which led to a partial collapse of the tunnel.

Friday night witnessed an explosion near the presidential palace in Heliopolis, Cairo, injuring four police conscripts.

Another IED exploded in front of a police station in Shubra Al Kheima, Cairo on Friday night, while another one implanted at the same police station was dismantled. The Ministry of Interior’s press office said that there were no causalities.
