Cairo Runners are inviting people to participate in their first half-marathon

This race is both first-timer friendly and ideal for marathoners in training. We have been working vigorously since December to prepare runners for this day. We have invested a significant amount of time and energy into building the stepping-stones for a running culture in Cairo, and continually strive to highlight the importance of fitness and wellbeing.

General information

Start/Finish Line: Almaza Garden, Marghany St., Heliopolis

Mandatory Arrival Time: 6:00 AM

Distances: Half Marathon Course (21K) and Shorter Course (7K)

Registration details

This first-of-a-kind half-marathon is a charity run where an EGP 30 registration fee will be required. Proceeds will go towards charity donations to The Egypt Liver Institute and Egypt’s Special Olympics teams, as well as funding for the event.

In addition to the non-refundable and non-transferable EGP 30 registration fee participants will be required to fill in a short registration form, and in turn will be provided with a unique race number.
