Smart Villages Development and Management Company (SVC) has announced the revitalisation of the Conference Center at Smart Village in West Cairo, with an investment exceeding EGP 1bn. This landmark project forms a cornerstone of SVC’s long-term strategy to build the next generation of integrated business communities designed to meet evolving market needs and attract leading global and regional enterprises.
The redevelopment is being delivered by a consortium of top-tier engineering and construction firms. REDCON Construction will oversee all construction works, while ECG (Engineering Consultants Group) serves as the design and execution supervision consultant, ensuring world-class quality across design, implementation, and operation.
The reimagined Conference Center is set to become a smart, mixed-use business complex, blending contemporary architecture with landscaped open spaces and panoramic lake views. Key features will include adaptable, high-spec office spaces; a fully equipped multi-purpose hall accommodating up to 1,000 guests; and an upscale selection of retail outlets, cafés, and restaurants along the lakefront.
The complex will also offer VIP lounges and smart meeting rooms outfitted with advanced audiovisual and conferencing systems. These facilities will be supported by Smart Village’s integrated facility management ecosystem, which ensures 24/7 security, proactive maintenance, and comprehensive internal transportation services.
This project forms part of Smart Village’s broader expansion master plan, which also envisions a business hotel, a scenic lakefront marina, and a revitalised Think Tank — all designed to enhance the business lifestyle and reinforce Smart Village’s reputation as Egypt’s first and leading integrated business park, with over 1 million sqm of office space.
Ahmed Amin, CEO of SVC, commented: “This initiative embodies our bold vision for workplace evolution in Egypt through renewal and innovation. It will play a pivotal role in creating an integrated business environment that inspires creativity and enriches the daily work experience.”
Founded in 2001 under the Investment Law, SVC has successfully developed and managed a network of branded technology clusters and business parks. The company continues to foster interactive business destinations that bring together public and private sector organisations within an environment defined by premium brands, diverse services, and smart solutions.
