The Pan Arab Golf Championship for Juniors and Ladies in Egypt serves as the inaugural event of the newly established Arab Golf Series (AGS). According to the organisers, the AGS provides a unified tournament schedule for the region with an official, independent ranking system. This structure is intended to offer Arab golfers a clear progression path by earning ranking points, which can then be used to qualify for professional tournaments. The series aims to enhance competition and support the discovery and development of emerging golf talent in the Arab world.
