Thirteen Palestinians including 4 children and 4 women were killed by the Israeli occupation forces in the besieged Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. Early on Tuesday, the Israeli occupation carried out a series of raids targeting houses and apartments in separate parts of Gaza.

The Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip targeted members of the Islamic Jihad Military Council, which was confirmed by the Israeli occupation army in a statement asking settlers to enter shelters.

In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to intervene urgently to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. It held the occupation government fully responsible for this aggression and its consequences on the conflict arena, as a dangerous escalation that threatens to explode it completely.

The ministry condemned, “the heinous crime committed by the occupation army against our people in the Gaza Strip, which led to the death of 13 citizens, most of them children, women and unarmed civilians, in addition to dozens of wounded, including serious injuries.”

It also considered the aggression “an extension of the occupation’s open war against our people and their just and legitimate national rights, and a continuation of the Israeli government’s attempts to export its crises to the Palestinian arena, and to perpetuate the logic of brute military force instead of peaceful political solutions to the conflict.”

Moreover, the Palestinian presidency condemned the “dangerous Israeli escalation against the Palestinian people.

The joint chamber of the Palestinian resistance factions mourned the martyrs of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. In a statement, the joint chamber held “the criminal enemy fully responsible for the repercussions of this cowardly crime.”

Also on Tuesday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli occupation’s bombing of the Gaza Strip saying that “such attacks that are inconsistent with the rules of international law and the provisions of international legitimacy, and fuel the situation in a way that may get out of control in the occupied Palestinian territories, and undermine efforts to achieve calm and reduce tension.”

Furthermore, Turkey and Jordan condemned the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.

In the meantime, the military spokesman for the “Quds Brigades”, the military arm of the Islamic Jihad movement in Gaza, Abu Hamza, said that the brigades would be “upon their commitment to respond to the assassinations.”

He added that “the occupation is delusional that the blood of the martyrs will be a bridge for crossing and a lifeline for its survival. The commander will succeed a thousand commanders, and the brigade will carry new cavalry, continuing the path on the path of one of the two saints.”
