The Information Technology Institute (ITI) of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology launched nine new training specialties in the field of communications and information technology through the ‘ITI Tech Leaps Initiative’, in cooperation with global company PluralSight and its digital platform.
Chairperson of the ITI Heba Saleh said that this partnership comes within the framework of the increasing demand to support the labour market with qualified human cadres and establishing new partnerships that enhance the training grants provided by the institute.
She added that the evaluation of the first phase of the programme is expected to be completed within six months, as the training process was supported by a network of accredited trainers in the specified disciplines to enhance the blended learning experience.
Through the initiative, the ITI now provides new training specialties for labour market positions, including Data Analyst, IT System Administrator, DevOps Developer, Cloud Engineer, Software Quality Control Specialist, Android Application Developer, UI/UX (Front End) Developer, Mean Stack Developer, and Java Spring Developer.
The initiative provides these training disciplines to fourth-year students in a number of distinguished Egyptian universities through the Creativa Innovation Hubs Initiative.
Creativa is one of the distinct specialised training programmes offered by the ITI to train and qualify students at specialised colleges for jobs that are in high demand in the labour market.
The initiative is a specialised six-month training grant that takes place in parallel with the institute’s other training grants.
