President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met with members of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) on Wednesday, to discuss the latest developments on the security situation in the country.
According to a statement by the armed forces, the meeting discussed the situation in Sinai, where Al-Sisi praised the efforts of the army in “countering terrorism”, in coordination with the police.
He asked security officials to remain alert in anticipation of possible terrorist attacks.
