Opel Astra maintains its lead among European cars

Opel added EGP 30,000 to the Insignia and Cascada prices to register EGP 450,000 and EGP 600,000 respectively

 

Opel Astra successfully kept its lead among cars of European origin during the first quarter of 2016, with recorded sales of 1,122 units worth EGP 252m.

Kia Sportage, manufactured in Slovakia, came in second with sales of 245 units at a total value of EGP 166m, followed by Peugeot 301 in third with 658 units at EGP 85m.

Skoda Octavia ranked fourth with 529 units sold at EGP 100m in total, followed by Opel Insignia in fifth selling 474 cars valued at EGP 156m.

Opel Astra has seized the top ranking position among European-origin cars in January and February with sales of 626 units valued at EGP 134m.

Peugeot 301 followed in second place, having sold 563 units over two month at EGP 67.5m. Peugeot 508 was ranked third with 370 sold units at EGO 95.8m.

Opel Insignia came in fourth with recorded sales of 316 cars worth EGP 99.5m, followed by Skoda Octavia, which sold 315 units valued at EGP 59.8m.
