Bank Audi aims to increase SMEs’ funding portfolio to EGP 400m by end 2015

Individual funding portfolio in Audi Bank in Egypt has reached EGP 2.4bn at the end of December 2014.

General Manager of Audi Bank Egypt Mohamed Abbas Fayed said that the volume of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) portfolio has reached EGP 160m, noting that the bank aims to increase the portfolio funding to EGP 400m by the end of 2015.

Fayed further added that the bank aims to introduce new services in the Islamic banking sector that are to be introduced by the first half of the current fiscal year.

Bank Audi has started its activities in the Egyptian market in 2006 and it has succeeded in increasing its capital from $100m in 2000 to $300m in 2014.
